We’ve just redesigned Medicare’s website, building the whole site as a one page parallax site. A parallax site is a recent design trend, that involves background images moving at a slower rate to the foreground, creating a 3D-type effect as users scroll down giving a nice visual effect.

We suggested this approach after speaking with our client, who wanted to take a ‘less is more’ approach with the website copy, and not to have copy just for the sake of it. Where a site is used more as a referral resource than needing to target Google searchers, this can work well.
